Yosuke Ueno comes from Japan but might be from another planet. His themes are very cosmic and he's known as SpaceEgg77. His palette of colors is otherworldly and his themes range from Anne Frank looking down on earth from the heavens to cosmic ducks and magic mushrooms. Bizarre, surreal and thought provoking, conjuring images from another galaxy are words that come to mind.

gI am very careful in an important thing when I paint.
It is a consciousness in which I couldnft know what kind of work comes about, and I hope to challenge what I couldnft handle in my mind. An adventurer makes his way because he didnft know what there are, and a chemist never grasps the answer without any experiments. All the time I venture into my execution, I get off the point where I canft look over the destination and then I seek my own brand-new beautiful way.h

CoproNason gallery presents this large body of work from Yosuke as he invades
the Americas with his unusual and unique vision. He calls it gJapolloh so be sure to be there at the arrival.

2005-MAR TOKYO

Exhibition named POSSIBLE .

I had held an exhibition, POSSIBLE-Never Impossible, since March 13th to 27th, 2005. (At Garage-B, Tokyo.) (Works showed were paintings, posters, objects, picture books, painted T-shirts, drawings, and sketchbook.) . Never Impossible, this is not obscure but aesthetic. Besides, this is also not a cheap ideal that someone might havesaid sometime, or somewhere. That is, a resolute preparation for being confronted extremely straightforward with unknown stuff to me. . I have thought over such a serious matter without any embarrassment. All the time that venturous mind provokes myself. So I have dared to confess. That, the positive energy is the strongest. Sometime that spirit has turned to theme of my works. Anne Frank, the Dice Dog, DNA, and the Universe shown in my pieces had been stronger, more great and beautiful than ever. . Yosuke Ueno 's Exhibition, POSSIBLE. That was so to speak, an exhibition like a mandala in which hopes were painted.

2005-JAN TOKYO .

This was the first show of 2005 and the preview of POSSIBLE,

the next exhibition. New 12 original paintings were shown.

.

2004-JULY-SEP SHIMONO-SEKI .
